I picked it up honestly as an inspiration to investigate my own past. I am an incest survivor, and have PTSD. Your work has encouraged me to seek my school files and talk with some people from my past. I see a specialist for trauma here in NYC, and am doing much better since beginning therapy. I, too, have been disassociated my entire life, as my abuse began in childhood at my mother's hands and continued throughout my adolescence.
